Aaron Cho

Experience: Aaron has trained and worked in both community-based and medical settings, including the YWCA, Swedish Medical Center, and as an intern at Constellation Therapy.

At the YWCA, Aaron worked with survivors of domestic violence and individuals navigating trauma and systemic stressors, developing a strong commitment to culturally responsive and empowerment-focused care. At Swedish Medical Center, he deepened his focus on Medical Family Therapy, supporting individuals, couples, and families facing illness, chronic health conditions, and major life transitions. Through his internship at Constellation Therapy, Aaron works with clients exploring identity, spirituality, queerness, and relational patterns.

Across settings, Aaron brings a systemic and collaborative lens to therapy, helping clients understand how patterns form and how meaningful change becomes possible.

Training:

BA, King’s College New York (2019)

MS/MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, Seattle Pacific University (expected 2025)

Aaron’s clinical training is rooted in Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrating systemic thinking with meaning-centered and values-based approaches to change. His work is influenced by Taimalieutu Kiwi Tamasese, Harry J. Aponte, and Nancy Eiseland, with a strong emphasis on story, context, and relational ethics.

Aaron also draws from his theological training, thoughtfully integrating conversations around faith, doubt, suffering, and meaning when relevant to clients’ lives. He has presented at the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy on Lament as a therapeutic practice, exploring how grief, protest, and spiritual language can be woven into healing work.

Best Client for Me:

You might be a good fit for me if:

  • You or your partner are navigating a medical diagnosis, chronic illness, or health-related stress.

  • You are exploring questions around identity, faith, or queerness and want space to integrate those parts of yourself.

  • You feel stuck in relational patterns and want a thoughtful, reflective process to understand and shift them.

  • You value depth, curiosity, and making meaning out of life’s more complex experiences.

I work well with clients who are open to slowing down, reflecting, and engaging therapy as a space for insight and transformation.
