Hannah Leonardo
Therapist Intern
Experience: Before starting graduate school to become a therapist, I got my BA in Psychology and Arts & Literature. Along with working in the hospitality industry during this time, I also worked as an installation art assistant and have volunteered in various arts-based programs within local non-profits. I also worked as a Wraparound Care Coordinator at Sound Behavioral Health, where I supported youth and families involved in multiple child-serving systems, and continue to work with elementary school students in special education.
Training: I am a Couple & Family Therapy student at Antioch University Seattle with a particular interest in Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and EFT.
The Best Client for me: The best client for me is someone who is looking for a warm and collaborative presence in a therapist, yet may also appreciate bringing a sense of humor and levity into the room when appropriate. I do well with clients who are analytical verbal processors, as well as with clients who are creative, fluid, and/or abstract communicators. I also work well with clients who feel like outsiders or often feel misunderstood by others. I specifically work with OCD, grief and loss, spiritual abuse/deconstruction, trauma, neurodivergence, and life transitions.
